User Registration Terms
By registering on ReMedi, you acknowledge, confirm, and agree to the following terms:
1. Age & Legal Capacity
You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are registering on behalf of a minor or dependent, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and are authorized to provide consent and information on their behalf.
2. Accuracy of Information
All information provided during registration and use of the ReMedi platform, including personal, contact, identity, and health-related details, must be true, accurate, current, and complete.
3. Ongoing Obligation to Update Information
You agree to promptly update your information if any changes occur to ensure continued accuracy and reliability of your account details.
4. Single Account Policy
You may maintain only one active account on ReMedi. Creating multiple accounts or misrepresenting identity is strictly prohibited.
5. Identity & Verification
ReMedi reserves the right to verify user identity through reasonable methods, including document verification or additional checks, where required for security, medical integrity, or regulatory compliance in Canada or India.
6. Account Security & Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. Any unauthorized access or security breach must be reported immediately.
7. Registration on Behalf of Another Individual
If you register, book appointments, or provide medical information on behalf of another individual, you confirm that:
- You are legally authorized to act on their behalf
- The information provided is accurate and complete
- You accept responsibility for consent and disclosures
8. Electronic Communication Consent
You consent to receive electronic communications from ReMedi, including appointment confirmations, reminders, clinical instructions, platform notifications, and administrative messages via email, SMS, app notifications, or other digital channels.
9. Data Privacy & Information Use
By using ReMedi, you acknowledge and consent that your personal and health-related information may be collected, stored, processed, and shared solely for the purpose of providing services, in accordance with:
- Applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA, where applicable)
- Applicable Indian data protection and healthcare regulations
- ReMedi’s Privacy Policy
10. Cross-Border Teleconsultation Acknowledgment
You understand and agree that:
- Consultations may be provided by licensed medical professionals located in different jurisdictions, including India
- Medical advice is provided in accordance with telemedicine regulations applicable to the doctor’s jurisdiction
- Certain medical services, prescriptions, or treatments may be limited by local regulatory requirements
11. Telemedicine & Medical Disclaimer
You acknowledge that:
- Online consultations are not a replacement for in-person medical care
- Diagnoses and treatment recommendations are based solely on the information you provide
- ReMedi does not guarantee medical outcomes
12. No Emergency Use
ReMedi is not intended for medical emergencies. In case of an emergency, you agree to contact local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
13. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
You agree to comply with ReMedi’s payment, cancellation, and refund policies. Providing false or misleading information may result in appointment cancellation without refund.
14. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Misuse the platform for illegal, abusive, or non-medical purposes
- Attempt to manipulate doctors, consultations, or platform systems
15. Consequences of False or Misleading Information
You acknowledge that providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in:
- Suspension or termination of your account
- Cancellation of appointments, with or without refund
- Restriction or permanent loss of platform access
- Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law
16. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
ReMedi reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at its discretion if a user violates these terms, applicable laws, or platform policies.
17. Compliance With Laws
You agree to use ReMedi in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including telemedicine, healthcare, and data protection regulations in Canada and India.
18. Medical Information Responsibility
- Medical history is optional and user-controlled
- You decide if and when to share information
- ReMedi is not responsible for outcomes based on incomplete or inaccurate information
19. AI Tool Usage Responsibility
- Any information entered into the AI symptom checker is provided voluntarily
- Users are responsible for ensuring they do not enter sensitive personal identifiers they do not wish to share
- ReMedi is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated information
20. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and notifying ReMedi of unauthorized access.
21. Electronic Communication Consent
You consent to receive OTPs, notifications, and service-related communications electronically.

Introduction
ReMedi (“ReMedi”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a virtual healthcare consultation platform registered in Canada. ReMedi enables users across Canada to connect with verified doctors and wellness professionals globally through a secure digital platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal and health-related information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

Consent
By using ReMedi, you provide informed consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limitations.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Enable consultations with doctors and wellness professionals
- Send OTPs, appointment confirmations, reminders, and service notifications
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Maintain platform security and compliance
ReMedi does not sell personal or health information.
Access Controls & Disclosure

- An appointment is booked, or
- The patient explicitly shares information
- Access is limited to the minimum necessary

ReMedi acts as a technology platform and electronic service provider, not as a healthcare provider.
Third-Party Service Providers
ReMedi uses trusted third-party service providers for:
- Hosting and cloud infrastructure (data stored in Canada)
- Voice and video consultations
- Payment processing
- Email and OTP delivery
These providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality, security, and compliance with applicable privacy standards.
Platform development and technical support are provided by HermoSoft Technology, Kerala, India.
Hermosof Technology does not access patient medical information except where strictly required for technical support and under confidentiality obligations.
AI Symptom Checker – Data Use & Privacy
ReMedi provides a free AI-powered symptom checker as an informational tool to help users better understand potential health concerns.
- The AI symptom checker does not collect, store, or retain personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or account details.
- User inputs entered to the AI symptom checker are not linked to the user’s ReMedi account.
- ReMedi uses third-party AI technology providers to enable this feature.
- Inputs provided to the AI tool are processed solely for generating symptom-related insights and are not used to identify users.
- No consultation data, medical history, or appointment information is shared with the AI system.
The AI symptom checker operates independently from doctor and wellness professional consultations.
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on secure servers located in Canada
- Encryption is used both at rest and in transit
- Video and voice consultations are not recorded
- Regular security assessments are conducted
Breach Notification
In the event of a privacy or security breach involving personal or health information, ReMedi will:
- Investigate and contain the incident promptly
- Notify affected users as required by law
- Report to regulatory authorities when legally require
User Rights
Users have the right to:
