Terms and Agreement
By registering and providing services on the ReMedi platform (“Platform”), you (“Practitioner”)
agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Professional Eligibility & Licensing
- Are legally qualified, licensed, registered, or certified in your jurisdiction;
- Are authorized to provide teleconsultation or wellness services;
- Will maintain valid credentials at all times.
You agree to promptly notify ReMedi of any suspension, restriction, or loss of professional status.
2. Accuracy of Information
You warrant that all personal, professional, and licensing information provided is true, complete, and current.
Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate termination.
3. Independent Professional Relationship
- You act as an independent service provider;
- You are not an employee, agent, or representative of ReMedi;
- You are solely responsible for your professional services and conduct.
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
- Access patient information only for authorized consultations;
- Maintain strict confidentiality;
- Use patient data solely within the Platform;
- Not copy, store, transfer, sell, or disclose patient information externally.
You must comply with applicable privacy laws, including Canadian data protection laws where applicable.
5. Prohibition on Off-Platform Activity
- Request or use patient contact details outside the Platform;
- Conduct consultations externally;
- Solicit patients for private services;
- Transfer patient data to personal or third-party systems.
All professional interactions must remain within ReMedi.
6. Security Obligations
- Protecting login credentials;
- Using secure devices and networks;
- Preventing unauthorized access;
- Reporting suspected data breaches immediately.
7. Professional Conduct & Ethics
- Provide services in accordance with professional standards;
- Practice within your authorized scope;
- Maintain respectful and ethical communication;
- Avoid misleading, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
8. Regulatory Compliance
- Telemedicine and healthcare regulations in your jurisdiction;
- Canadian healthcare and privacy laws where applicable;
- Professional governing body standards.
You are solely responsible for regulatory compliance.
9. Clinical Responsibility & Disclaimer
- Medical outcomes cannot be guaranteed;
- Advice is based on patient-provided information;
- ReMedi does not control clinical decisions.
You accept full responsibility for professional judgments.
10. Patient Consent & Information Handling
- Respect patient consent at all times;
- Collect only necessary information;
- Not pressure patients to disclose unnecessary personal data.
11. Complaints & Investigations
- Patient complaints may be investigated;
- You must cooperate with reviews;
- Temporary suspension may occur during investigation.
12. Termination & Suspension
ReMedi may suspend or terminate your account for violations, misconduct, regulatory non-compliance, or security risks, with or without notice in serious cases.
13. Liability & Indemnification
- Assume responsibility for your professional services;
- Indemnify ReMedi against claims arising from negligence, misconduct, or legal violations;
- Hold ReMedi harmless from malpractice-related disputes.
14. Cross-Border Practice
- Patients may be located in different jurisdictions;
- Cross-border regulations may apply;
- You are responsible for compliance in your practice location.
15. Intellectual Property
All platform systems, software, branding, and content remain the property of ReMedi. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
16. Electronic Communications
You consent to receive platform-related communications electronically, including compliance, payment, and administrative notices.
17. Amendments
ReMedi may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, subject to applicable international and jurisdictional regulations.
19. Acceptance
By registering on ReMedi, you confirm that you:
- Meet eligibility requirements;
- Have read and understood these Terms;
- Agree to comply fully;
- Accept professional and legal responsibility for your services.
Privacy Policy
Introduction
ReMedi (“ReMedi”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a virtual healthcare consultation platform registered in Canada. ReMedi enables users across Canada to connect with verified doctors and wellness professionals globally through a secure digital platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal and health-related information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

Personal Health Information (PHI)
Personal Health Information may include any identifying information related to your physical or mental health, medical history, symptoms, or healthcare consultations.
- Providing medical history is optional
- By default, no medical information is shared with any doctor or professional
- Medical information is shared only when you explicitly choose to do so
Technical & Usage Data
- IP address, device and browser type
- Login activity and timestamps
- Platform usage data for security and system integrity
Consent
By using ReMedi, you provide informed consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limitations.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Enable consultations with doctors and wellness professionals
- Send OTPs, appointment confirmations, reminders, and service notifications
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Maintain platform security and compliance
ReMedi does not sell personal or health information.
Access Controls & Disclosure

ReMedi acts as a technology platform and electronic service provider, not as a healthcare provider.
Third-Party Service Providers
ReMedi uses trusted third-party service providers for:
- Hosting and cloud infrastructure (data stored in Canada)
- Voice and video consultations
- Payment processing
- Email and OTP delivery
These providers are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality, security, and compliance with applicable privacy standards.
Platform development and technical support are provided by HermoSoft Technology, Kerala, India.
Hermosof Technology does not access patient medical information except where strictly required for technical support and under confidentiality obligations.
AI Symptom Checker – Data Use & Privacy
ReMedi provides a free AI-powered symptom checker as an informational tool to help users better understand potential health concerns.
- The AI symptom checker does not collect, store, or retain personally identifiable information such as name, email, phone number, or account details.
- User inputs entered to the AI symptom checker are not linked to the user’s ReMedi account.
- ReMedi uses third-party AI technology providers to enable this feature.
- Inputs provided to the AI tool are processed solely for generating symptom-related insights and are not used to identify users.
- No consultation data, medical history, or appointment information is shared with the AI system.
The AI symptom checker operates independently from doctor and wellness professional consultations.
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on secure servers located in Canada
- Encryption is used both at rest and in transit
- Video and voice consultations are not recorded
- Regular security assessments are conducted
Breach Notification
In the event of a privacy or security breach involving personal or health information, ReMedi will:
- Investigate and contain the incident promptly
- Notify affected users as required by law
- Report to regulatory authorities when legally require
User Rights
Users have the right to:
- Request access to their personal information
- Request corrections or updates
- Control sharing of medical history
- Request account deletion, subject to legal obligations
Requests will be handled within a reasonable timeframe.
Age Restriction
ReMedi registration is intended only for individuals 18 years or older.
